Cliva Maxine Wolfe

CLIVA MAXINE WOLFE was born on 16 September 1914 in Oklahoma to Charles Henry Wolfe and Missouri Belle Carter. She went by Maxine and her nickname was Toots.

She was married to Donald Robert Miller on 20 May 1934. As a note of interest, the Wolfe family was shown to be living nearby the Miller family residence in the 1920 census of Garland, Benton County, AR. 

Maxine was a bookkeeper for the Village Florist in Ojai which was owned by her nephew, David Miller Mason.

Don passed away in 1969 and Maxine remained a widow for the remainder of her life.

She died on 31 March 2010 at the age of 95 in Ojai, Ventura County, CA.

MAXINE WOLFE MILLER passed away March 31, 2010, In Ojai. She was born September 16, 1914 in Oklahoma, to Charly and Belle Wolfe. The family moved to Centerton, Arkansas, where she grew up. She married Donald Robert Miller, and they moved to Ojai in 1955. Preceding her in death was a son, Kevin Kennedy Miller, in 1950, and her husband, Donald, in 1969. She is survived by a daughter, Karen McNeil and husband Mike, and son Phillip Miller and wife Jodie, all of Ojai. Also surviving her are grandchildren Erin Miller of Ojai, and Bryan McNeil and Nathan McNeil, both of Ventura, and two greatgrandchildren, Emily and Alex. Graveside services will be held at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at 11 a.m. Maxine requested no flowers, but suggested memorial contributions to The Wounded Warriors Fund: KWVA Wounded Warriors Fund, P. O. Box 51, Lewes, DE 19958.
