Bob frequently vacationed in Palm Desert, CA and Hawaii, enjoyed golf, was an avid coin collector and had a passion for building and driving hot rods. He always enjoyed driving a 'hot' car or truck and could name and describe, in detail, every vehicle he had ever owned. In years past, he was involved in drag boat racing. He was talented with his hands and could build about anything.

Ashes will be interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where a memorial service for Bob will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA 91724.

Obituary written by Diane Finlinson Miller
Note on 13 June 2016: Bob's death was an unattended death and the Coroner's office has not yet determined the day of death.
Note on 29 Jul 2016: The amended death certificate was issued and shows the death date as 16 May 2016, the day Bob was found in his home. I guess it was determined to use that date of DOD, although other factors known, lead to conclude it was at an earlier date.
